9.10. Error when attaching - Failed to load JVM from ... (the specified module could not be found)
Symptoms
When the user requests that Attach Plus manipulate a PDF during attachment, they receive an error dialog stating "Failed to load JVM from .... (the specified module could not be found)"
Background
This error can occur if the Java Runtime on the workstation has been damaged (or uninstalled)
Resolution
- Completely uninstall the Java runtime using the Windows Control Panel
- Download and install Attach Plus from here: http://attachplus.com/tryit.jsp
Note: Do NOT uninstall Attach Plus first - if you do, you will need to re-enter your license number - During installation, Attach Plus will detect that the Java runtime is not installed and will initiate installation of the correct version
